From the streets, to the turntables, to the skin. My creative roots go deep. I started out in the 1980s as a graffiti artist, running the streets from Virginia Beach up to New York. By 1990, that energy translated into music. I spent years DJing, earning a sponsorship from Ecko Unlimited and hitting the road to tour for some of hip-hop’s biggest moments—including Jay-Z’s legendary Hard Knock Life tour and the Method Man & Redman Blackout tour.

 

In 2000, I picked up the tattoo machine . Over the last 25+ years, I’ve tattooed my way across the country. My style is heavily influenced by the West Coast single-needle black and grey pioneers like Mark Mahoney, Freddy Negrete, and Jose Lopez.

 

Today, I specialize in ultra-clean fine line, smooth black and grey realism, portraits, micro-tattoos, and sharp, custom hand-lettered script. When I’m not at the shop, you can usually find me cultivating my garden, experimenting in the kitchen, and enjoying great food.
