Jamie Baldwin

Hiya! My name's Jamie, and my pronouns are she/her! I'm originally from the Okefenokee Swamp, but moved to Athens in 2016 to attend UGA. I graduated in 2021 with a Mechanical Engineering degree, but after spending time in industry I decided it wasn't what I wanted to do with my life. After some consideration, I chose to pursue my long time dream of becoming a body piercer, and have been lucky enough to find a mentor at 3 Ravens with Eryn!

As someone who has experienced self image issues throughout my life, there's nothing more satisfying to me than helping someone self actualize and find their look. Seeing someone's face light up when they see their piercing for the first time is a wonderful thing! For my own piercings I'm a big fan of silver and intricate metalwork over gemstones, but I'm always happy to find the perfect jewelry for a client.

 

When I'm not at the studio, I love reading fantasy/sci-fi novels, preparing for my Dungeons and Dragons campaigns, playing strategy games, playing my 7-string, and spending time with my favorite people! When you come into the shop you'll probably see me reading my current fixation! (please feel free to ask me about it, but only if you don't have anywhere to be… )
