Carmen Matheny

Social Media Director- After growing up in Baton Rouge and living a few years in a small town in Tennessee, I relocated to Georgia to work in the Atlanta film industry and attend UGA. I loved Athens so much that I decided to stick around long after graduating.

I have worked in a wide variety of fields, including film/tv, radio, promotions, fitness, law, medical transport, and education, but social media has always been one of my main passions. I've managed social media for large brands, small businesses, and even my own brand, where I focus predominately on plus size fashion and body positivity. ⁣

My interests outside of work include singing, acting, dancing, taking photos, making videos, fashion, makeup, and like most millennials, sitting around at home watching TV with my husband and dogs, while simultaneously staring at my phone.
